QUOTE(garybenjamin @ Apr 12 2013, 05:21 PM) Pressure measurement usually measured by PASCAL, Pound Per Square Inches-PSI or BAR. Because PRESS is on the positive side, so PSI and BAR is more proper.Suction/Vacuum usually measured by MERCURY. Because SUCK is on the negative side(passive), the mercury higher means more suction power. In conversion, when gauges using BAR reading on a suction environment, all readings will be in negative. However, its not wrong that the fake DEFI uses BAR despite everything is negative. It's just that will take sometime to adjust yourself on the conversion. However, a good boost meter cluster should have both BAR and MERCURY reading on the same gauge. When suction, needle goes below 0 will be on MERCURY reading, whilst during turbine charging, needle above pressure level the reading should be PSI/BAR. This will be easier for driver's reference. ![]() And below is the MERCURY reading in in/hg gauge QUOTE(MildLO @ Apr 12 2013, 05:51 PM) trying to find something cheaper a lil bit Default threshold for vacuum warning is -0.8bar. Anytime when you drive fast and sudden release gas pedal will result in high vacuumization in the manifold, it warns youdefi vacuum meter when i rev til 4 or 5 or 6 will alert me blinking2 red,why r? if normal drive ok je change2 gear tiada alert http://youtu.be/pZZ60jrw6cg?t=1m36s Below is the video I've recorded before I reset the gauge since my wife BEEP all the time. To reset the redline, hold the button at the back of gauge for 3 seconds, until the needle start to blink, then you can adjust the threshold by repeatedly press on the button. Once completed, left it alone for about 10 seconds, it will automatically refresh and back as usual function. I've reset mine to -0.9bar, so Mrs.YAB doesn't trigger the alert that often, in return, FC gone worst in my GaGa life time Fuelly ever since the threshold has been extended This post has been edited by davidke20: Apr 12 2013, 11:03 PM |

The cold air interval is 5 seconds, hard to notice if not blowing towards u. Cooling of cabin is not problem, but just want to know it is normal ? Sc said tat compressor cut off to prevent freezing.

Cooling of cabin is not problem, but just want to know it is normal ? Sc said tat compressor cut off to prevent freezing. 15 seconds when thermostat is minimal, according to coolkwc. To troubleshoot this, turn your thermostat to Maximum in the afternoon and time the cut off time. Usually the cut off time will take very long, sometimes up to 5 minutes before it cut off. Saga BLM and FLX uses same blower & cooling coil. Savvy and FL uses same blower & cooling coil. However, all Savvy, BLM, FL & FLX uses same SANDEN compressor. The intermittent cut off was the valve inside the cooling coil reaches certain temperature, it needs to cut off to prevent freezing. However, if your thermostat already maximum, in the hot afternoon aircon still cut off within a minute, that could be the valve actuator got problem, unable to sustain the open/close valve. Normally, valve replacement can solve the problem, but need to scarify refrigerant, because need to release all gas before remove the valve. Replacing the valve is not expansive, the labor and gas is.Ask that many SC's technician you've visited go fuck themself. How many type of blower also don't know, only use the same type of compressor also don't know. |
