According to racegrooves, this 5 pack all is not exclusive recolor but repeat of singles. A little bummer, but good because most likely I can never find the lambo or Subaru easily.

Since its night, lets put a little light on things.



This guy has been glowing daily on my table every day fro the last 3 weeks.

Its hard for me also because of cheap camera. I think for DSLR camera, its easy to capture it. But here is what I did with cheap camera. Set the camera to night mode with tripod settings. Find an area where there is just enough light to make out things at the background. Cannot be fully dark because camera cannot focus lock on object. Then use flashlight bombard the car with light for 10 seconds more or less. Ready camera. Once off the flash light, then press camera and wait. Should get the image that I got. I think your handphone camera got no long exposure that's why cannot capture it. But that Nokia Lumia 920 might be able to do it easily. Also those mid range Canon HS super sensitive night sensors might make work easy also.

Its not perfect as u can still see grainy on it from the camera doing compensation. I learn many tips from web also. Like this bokeh (rear blurring) shot with cheap camera. Here is sample image. Can use easily for HW cars.



But need bright environment. I'm still learning the adjustments needed to make nice pictures. I think anybody can do it. But still need a camera with some manual adjustments even if it is a RM200 digital camera like mine. Oh yeah that critter in the picture ate 2 pots of leaves in a single day! Then it disappeared.

Yeah I think this 2013 police 5 pack a little better than the 2012 one. Mainly these 2 cars and the Swat truck.



Its strange that this 2013 pack is nice, but the cars will be available as singles with same design and color. The old one doesn't, and it had only 1 car that made it work.

11 years ago PC fair was still ok. But that was when PC was still all the rage. Now its all gadget fair. Those who pay few thousand for a booth for 3 days cannot cover back the cost one. The big big company dun even care about those cost because they wanna show their brand only. Its PC fail. PIKOM is the one gaining money from this fair. Not the sellers.

Just yesterday i got ferrari 5 pack at tesco, same thing happen. I think the security sticker is provided bt mattel.

Its not just any barcode sticker. Inside the sticker is security feature. It will trigger the door alarm if it is not disabled.

Unless the sticker was disabled for some reason, it will trigger the door alarm. I think u have seen there is this grey elctromagnet thing on most dept stores that when they put the sticker on it, the unit will beep and disable the security sticker. Can see in youtube how they activate and deactivate it.
