hey guys...would like to share my Sound Proof installation done by Mr Howie @ EA Autoworks.

After 2 lengthy meet up sessions with Howie (:hint: :hint: customer service available too..lol), we've came to a final decision on materials to be used:

1) Outer door frame:
~ Layer 1- StP Bomb
~ Layer 2- Splen
~ Layer 3- DynaXorb behind speaker

2) Inner door frame:
~ Layer 1- Aluminium to cover all service holes and small holes
~ Layer 2- StP Gold

3) Door panel:
~ Layer 1- StP Gold
~ Layer 2- Special absorption material

4) Floor pan (Driver's and Passenger's side only):
~ Layer 1- StP Bomb
~ Layer 2- StP Gold
~ Layer 3- Splen
~ Layer 4- Special absorption material

Here comes the photos of installation..

attention to details...he literally went tru every inch of material heat-blowing and pressing it to make sure maximum cohesion is achieved! It does looks good as well when the material actually follows the structure of ur door frame... thumbup.gif

I've recorded a short video clip, Rear Door without any sound proof material vs front door.
* this video does not do any justice on the work done and results achieved! you are welcome to come and knock on my door to know how SOLID it is..(only with ur hands please, no HAMMER, METAL BAR, or any other TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT! tongue.gif )

User Review...

I have to thanks Mr Howie and his team that have put 100% dedication and effort in doing my car...Their service, workmanship, and professionalism is second to none! notworthy.gif

Owning good quality equipment is one thing. Having able to apply and implement it to it’s fullest potential is another different story. By doing so, we are actually maximizing our investment value as we are enjoying the “ULTIMATE END RESULT” that can be achieved.

It's only been 2 days driving my truck after work done, so I'll just give some initial impression...I would add more details when the time comes.... thumbup.gif

- The floor pan is ROCK SOLID like a floor...before doing the deadening, I can always feel minor vibration while resting my left foot on the floor pan, now, it's sooo solid, no vibration at all! shocking.gif

- Road noise has been significantly reduced.

- Outside vehicle's noise has been significantly reduced...its so quiet that I barely hear any noise from vehicle cruising pass me..well, unless they are crushing their accelerator pedal...lol..

- Engine noise (high pitch) at 2800-3000+ rpm is reduced...

More to come.... icon_rolleyes.gif
