Based on my experience with the S2,I'm not worried about the phone getting scratched as much as I'm worried about the phone's openings.

My S2 masuk air when I never ever dropped it into water, nor ran under the rain with it. Bollocks-burnt my 2 year warranty at the same time.

The only thing I can think of is my sweat going into the phone, corroding the innards of the device, cos I put the phone in my pocket and I.....tend to sweat alot
The back of the phone's aluminium/chrome/whatever finishing even turned green

So far, Digi's one seems reasonable - from RM1199 with their monthly RM148 plan.

Maxis-wise, hope theirs intro price won't break the bank.
