i am using maxis surfmore50 now, but i wan to reduce my mobile budget, so plan to take this umobile28. I will go back to sarawak and they say sarawak they use maxis backbone, so seems good to me, but dunno la, scare their line maxis give them lousy lolz.

I choose Talk More 28 + 3 GB data. Now, seems like I use hardless 3GB data cos at work alot of wifi. Maybe will reduce to 1GB soon. WiFi everywhere lolz

actually maxis is good, but when you exceed the quota and you get charge money
no matter how you argue you also lose 1, very hard to win
yet, their plan is sucks, compare with iphone plan (ivalue plan), everything bundle
example, ivalue simple (RM 50), got bundle with 1gb quota, sms and call (forget how many sms and how many minute call), but for other phone plan, must buy the talkmore + internet plan, else just get surf more plan (charge as you use for call and sms)

Im an s3 user, just reading this thread to see if worth the change to s4. Just wanted to post coz many are asking about maxis.
My mom is using maxis, they will throttle down after the data limit. BUT u must beware of the hidden charges, hard copy bill, call waiting, call barring, mms spam, and many others. They charge all this. After u register, go to ur online account and cancel all this.
Another thing, my mom once got sms spam, she disregard this, but every time she dont know y her bill always reach limit after 2 weeks. Its bcoz these sms charge 50sen,total was rm38 if im not mistaken.
Always check ur bill.

do they charge u for itemised billing?

Call waiting also got charge? If subscribed but no use how?

i wonder the bills are handled by computer automatically or manually by human?

is there a way to get rid of itemised billing? because my whole family (4) is charged rm5 per person . but all our bills come in one letter?

You login to Maxis and change it to e-billing, where your bill is delivered via email.
You will have the RM5 waived. But you should check whether it gets waived for all 4 or only on the main account.

If you using maxis, just login to your maxis account and untick itemised bill

few of my fren use the prepared umobile..the line not bad... but they say weaker than hotlink or maxis in some area but stronger in another area... for example, in office, umobile stronger signal while at home weaker or G or E only.. but hotlink totally opposite..

Anyone notice this. While Surfing a webpage on ur s4 which has alot of text. When u scroll up , the words has some sort of black shadow while u scroll the webpage up & down.

Dont know whether any of u noticed it
