Actually you still use the same quota whether you're on LTE or 3G.
If you download 1GB of file on LTE..you still download 1GB of the same file on 3G. Only different is you download much faster when on LTE.

That remain to be seen as in the past Exynos have more custom rom than Snapdragon.

Only for CM/AOSP/AOKP custom rom. TWbased rom normally stick on Exynos. But like i said...need to see how things go first.

While 4x1 low speed wont win you any bragging benchmark.
Pick your choices..

Yes..quad is enough but what type of quad procs.?
If you use full blown A15 procs..it'll be fast on performance but also fast eating your battery.
if you use only A7 procs..you save a lot of battery but getting a so so performance.

So Samsung take a middle road that switching between those two sets of quad processor depending on what task you're on.
