Tried to get an S4 from LYT last night, but only left the white one. Went to Asia Mobile on the 1st floor to check if they have the black one. They did! But the fraking bloodsuckers wont sell it to me unless I purchase a bundle. RM2599 for the S4, flip case, Bluetooth headset, and sp. I told them I only wanted the phone and the S-cover flip case, and I'll pay cash. The saleslady went to check with her boss, and came back to tell me that will only be available next week. I didn't even bother responding. Screw them, I'll get my S4 elsewhere.

if it's already on, just head to your email, sms, video,gallery,etc (stock samsung apps) and hover your finger max +-3cm away and the preview will appear.

depending on how many pictures you have in your gallery, it may take a second or two to populate the preview.

be sure to check your settings to make sure they haven't been disabled by mistake.

i was using the hover feature earlier, and now i check it's disabled

great to use with videos like youtube's hovering feature(with the mouse) on PC

i didnt bother.
the minute i bought it, the sales person already asked if I want them to switch it on for me.

i purposely told them to do so, and watched as they "taught" me how to use the phone.

very interesting to see people teach you things you already know (gmail,etc)

speaking of gmail, Google Music(or any cloud music service like Spotify) is just awesome.
i didn't bring my memory card at the time, so didn't have much to test the speakers with, but using their shop wifi, managed to stream music from the cloud and was very happy

also, i haven't rooted it yet.
maybe i'll wait awhile before i root it.

my Nexus 7 is already rooted, so might be better to have one device rooted and another not rooted?

There's no need. Modern lithium ion batteries doesn't need those long charges, as a matter of fact, they usually have some circuits in them to stop the battery from continue to charge when it becomes full to avoid overcharging. You can use them straight out of the box like you would any other battery that you have been using for a while.

nice little window on the cover, but it's something to get used to.
my mum bought the s cover just now and she still opens the phone to answer calls

plus flip covers are so annoying when you need to take quick pics.

instead of taking the picture, you end up fiddling with the cover

the only keyboard i'm using is swiftkey.

speaking of which, isn't it supposed to be included in S4 as standard?

i had to re-download my own copy, which wasn't a pain as it's just in amazon's appstore, but annoying since i thought it was already in built into the S4

10GBs won't last long if you're shooting 10Mbps and above, especially given how greedy people get when given fast access to something.

best keyboard on any device,IMHO.

one of the biggest reasons i am not interested in either iOS or Windows Phone as my main phone.

I was playing with the phone yesterday and it re booted itself twice by itself on seperate occasions too! I factory reset it this morning, so far, ok....

Hi guys, just bought my S4 yesterday and been fiddling with it and it's a real wide opening experience thus far compared to my Iphone 4 which i am still using

So all the sifus out there.. Is it recommendable to root the phone or should i hold off first.

Also are there any recommended widgets that i should get that won't hinder the phone's performance ?
