if full charge, the LED will still in red or need to wait it turn to green/blue only can stop charging?

What temperatures are you seeing I find is acceptable HTC One is even worse n even hotter by average 3 degree at least in most tasks |

Always do a fsctory reset first when you get the phone
You will be amaze by the improved smoothness n responsiveness in the phone
