Cheers my friend. From what I have read, I don't need to get the premium version.

Am I correct?

Can asomeone explain to me why we can get cheaper s4 by registering a package with celcom, maxis or digi? We still need to pay in advance which in total will come to the same price if we get the phone wthout the contract

Most of the upfront payment is returned back to you via the form of monthly rebates. So it is slightly cheaper.

Also, long time users of a particular network are normally exempt from paying most upfront payments.

They basically want you to tie up with them for 12/24 months. The advanced payment is advanced payment for your future monthly bills. Depending on telco/phone and duration of contract, the amount needed to pay in advanced varies.

Oh yes, I found out about this when enquiring about a phone package from Maxis. Minimum 1 year of using Maxis Postpaid is required or something hmm.gif

Want to add as well, we're lucky in this part of the world they don't lock down your phone. So any problem you wanna cancel contract and move to other provider, you don't have to worry about phone not able to use. In US, their telcos lock down their phone and have to pay extra if you want to move sad.gif

You're right ... it's minimum one year for Maxis. Not a problem for me since I was a Maxis user since the day the company was born.

I feel old now sad.gif

Just try out exynox version of S4. The not smooth cut frame issue happen at SIII also happen at S4. Not really satisfied.

But S4 AMOLED screen was among the best I ever seen. The default and professional color profile both nice.

Handle was crazy light, overall build quality was much better than SIII.

Air view was cool but not really useful. Auto stop is working as it suppose. Page flipping using sensor was gimmick, it just not smooth and slow.

You always use "was" when the correct word is "is".

Just bought a black i9500.. Paid RM1836 with RM100 rebate and 2 years of RM58 contract..

Surprisingly, the RM100 rebate is for 200 first customers, and apparently I'm customer number 170 or so.. not many ppl interested in S4? How come other countries say pre-order also sold out.. yawn.gif
