About 2k for a normal house. With 2 years warranty. But they are confident the treatment sure works... I dunno how, but I think baiting is the best. Safe and more Eco friendly than spray.

Sungai Buloh shops selling baja, soil and soil treatment (incl fibronil). They use it for palm oil or rubber plantation.....

Big hardware shops may also have it.

Cos i disturb it a bit when I found the termites. According to the specialist, the termites will move to other places when they found some disturb. So I believe they just move to other places, that's why I did the general pest spraying every 2 months and hopefully the chemical smell will scare away the termites.

Idoblu - you are welcome.

I researched into termite issues. A lot of mis-information in the market playing on people's fear.

The key is the chemical used, and the price quoted. Regular maintenance every say 3 to 4 months helps prevent recurring attack.

Azmi is a good guy, inexpensive, and can advise on the right chemical to use.

My old house comes with rentokil 10 years warranty(developer). Well, termites still came within 5 years. Crap, the warranty doesnt cover the damage and they just respray it.

Anyway, I got fedup as termites will comes back again after a few year but since I went for drilling method, it had been good.

The only disadvantage about drilling method, they might accidentally drill and hit your water pipes. Trust me, I have to curse and swear those idiots and the incovenience they caused me and I even have to repipe my piping at my own cost. That company didnt even bother to pay me a single cent.

Unless you know very well where your underground pipe are laid, I wouldn't advise folks to try drilling method.

My new home, I am not bother with termites control as I make sure there is no wood in my home.

Hi all,

I have a lot of black ants hiding in between the door frame and the wall! ERGH. Not sure if they are termites, I will do some research on that.

Sometimes they come out and play by the hundreds and just make my hair stand. I only used consumer pest spray to spray then vacuum them up. I also spray into where I think their nest is and they rushed out. But few days later, another wave came out. wtf!

Is Azmi's chemicals safe for pets? I have 1 small dog at home too, who has occasionally been eating them ants too.

*
Just put the 40 cents ant poison can kill them all.
I already killed at least 3 colonies since moving in my house last OCT 2013.

1. Black ants (move very fast but didn't bite human)
2. Red ants big size (move slower, but did bite human)
3. Red ants medium size (move slower, but did bite human)

Now the next problem is cockroaches.

Azmi ? sure, give him a call. he just did a anti pest / termite job for me in Sg Buloh.

Contact: Azmi 019.264 0805. He can take care A to Z. Indicative RM60 for double storey link house using a general anti pest (chlorpyrifos). He used to do Sentricon system on my house but he's now on his own. Good guy.

now we are discussing fipronil vs imidacloprid. i think imi works quite well as well but cheaper since no more patent.

I had engage Azmi, it cost me RM70 for my ground floor 20x70. My house had hit by terminte, the store room and maid room kena, cover with mud track.
He did spray and remove the mud.
But now i need to do cleaning. Since he had spray earlier now I do the cleaning of the mud dirt. Should I do respray again?
He qoute me 1.5k for the baiting system with 1 year warranty. It is reasonable? I saw some website ppl selling DIY baiting system.
What I worry these terminte back again but w/o I able to notice.

Azmi is good. Inexpensive too.

If you need the reassurance of a big company, then do NOT use Azmi.

If you want the job done, use Azmi.

TERMIBAIT installed bait station on 1.1.2016. a rechecking on 15.1.2016 found termites are chewing termibait bait. The process of eating and passing on the food to members until whole colony is eliminated takes about 2 - 3 months.

Have you checked your house lately? remember not to spray or remove termite food away. Call your trusted pest control companies for help.

Check out Termibait facebook or our website www.termibait.com.my

Its not too late if you notice termites now.....

regards
Termibait

Any homeowner would need to employ termite infestation control at a certain point. The best time to start a termite management is the soonest possible time such as when it is newly built or from the time people start occupying it through termite inspection. My brother had a termite infestation in his house, that time he had called an Exterminator Danbury CT for exterminating termites from his house. If you wish, you can visit the website and can get in contact with them or can also look and compare the prices by searching for it online.

Does anyone know how to prepare the home prior to termite treatment (the one where holes are drilled on the flooring for liquid termicide injection).

Thinking of doing this year but wondering how much preparation is required.

ask Azmi...nice guy, he'll advise you....

he does drilling for houses but if your house not ready yet, easier for him to advise how to lay the pipes....

he's still available but much busier than when i first recommended him several years back.....value for money, Azmi's the best....but have to wait for his schedule....

Contacted Azmi but was a bit disappointed (irritated) that he wanted to ask for money just to come inspect and to provide a quote and options for the treatment. Based on the feedback provided here I was going to give him a chance and didn't even contact any other companies.

Because of this, I cancelled the appointment and contacted another person instead. Will see him this weekend and share his details if he is reasonable.

Decided to go with NLC. Feel more confident with their service. For reference, their price for 20x40 feet house (based on built-up, not land size) is RM3,600 for both baiting (to exterminate current termite colony) and injection. If baiting only is RM1,600.

Just to share on my workout.

1. Get a few termite bait. Place it at place where the termite is munching or thier route. Takes like 2 - 3 weeks and all termites will dissapear.
2. Get a 2 litre termite chemical. This needed to be done in 2 phase. Brew a 10 liter chemical and pour around your house coumpound (outdoor) during rainy season. Most probable after 3 -4 days of raining. Dampen soil will be a good medium to dilute the chemical and penetrate to the soil as soil is wet. Few days after the rainy season, one more round on the same quantity.

You'll enjoy a one - two years of peaceful life. This is not a permenant solution as this needed to re-do in every 3 or 6 months.

Saves some money too!

I have brought a 10 years old house, so far no sign of termites found...but my neighbors faced termites in 2020 and has killed them with baiting system...till now no more termites...
Should I do termites control before moving in?
