Yes, you do have to open up the door trim for fixing the door comfort,
and for hood comfort you would just need to clean your hood properly and just stick our product (self-adhesive) directly to your hood

the instruction manual would be in the box along with the product sir, but i will upload a few image later on

Personally, i prefer to have someone do it for me rather than i do it myself as there is a risk of making the problem worse or damaging the fittings.
