When you open the drain valve, the tank will drain damn fast if they can get the fuel cap off as well...

QUOTE(StationMonkey @ Apr 8 2013, 01:36 PM) Then how? Aiyah, no friends free to help you test meh? Or call AAM if you subscribed to them.No kesan Then I have to wait another person to pour while I tengok bawah la Fuel pump station kinda far some more. Haiz. The pintu lubang minyak no signs of tampering. Underside of car seems dry. No petrol smell as well. Check your car's manual, it might tell you where the drain valve is located so you can check yourself also... |

Does Viva's fuel meter show the fuel level even when the engine is dead?
Or you just assuming that the tank is empty because you cannot start the car... (-.-)" Describe the sound when you try to start the car? |

QUOTE(StationMonkey @ Apr 8 2013, 02:07 PM) Unfortunately you're wrong. It's not red. Well if the indicator is supposed to show fuel tank empty, then yeah, probably someone stole your petrol...Usually kereta rosak sounds like "Chruuukchrkchrkchkrhckrhckhkrhckrhckrhkchr" right this one is "Chuk..chuk.." Blink blink indicator ![]() ![]() Doesn't look like got oil spillage right ![]() ![]() Means what... someone really stole your fuel or your fuel still ada but you assumed wrongly? Which one is the petrol tank? Petrol evaporates fast anyway, it won't still be on the ground... |

QUOTE(StationMonkey @ Apr 8 2013, 02:16 PM) Fuel cap still intact and tight I meant that if it had spilled on the road, it would have evaporated anyway so no trace at all on the road for you to see...Weekends I didn't go anywhere so I didn't checked the car at all... Not sure if can evaporate in 2 days... |

I don't think it is anything to do with your fuel levels dy... sounds more electrical than anything...
If you have jump cables, try jump starting with your neighbour's car to see if miki is right about the battery. (if you have voltmeter to read the battery's voltage right away, also good) |

QUOTE(regiuseven @ Apr 8 2013, 04:41 PM) Oh ya SM, you've mentioned about the chkrchkr and chuk chuk sounds. Check for starter or alternator problems, my car also chuk chuk last year, turned out to be a defective alternator. Check the battery as well Don't need the alternator to start the car... your car battery is the one that provides the spark for ignition. Alternator provides the electricity once the engine is running, and also keeps your battery charged. When your alternator is dead, your car runs off the battery, thus your battery (no matter how new) will be flat in no time... |

QUOTE(StationMonkey @ Apr 8 2013, 04:53 PM) But battery water still got. Do you think it could be spark plug problem? Nothing to do with battery water, if your alternator was not charging the battery, then got ocean inside also no use...Yerrrr I know la. Already put P. I checked the battery, the water seems to be on safe level. Where can i check the alternator? Spark plug problem, you would have most likely notice when you were driving before, i.e. car jerks a fair bit when you try to accelerate, cos not all cylinders were combusted properly/completely. Alternator cannot check on your own la, you will need a mechanic to check that. Next step i would suggest is to try a jump-start first. |

QUOTE(badang_1785 @ Apr 8 2013, 04:58 PM) And if TS' battery is flat, all her electrical systems would be dead as well. Could be the battery not enough voltage now... which a jump start will fix and then let the alternator charge the battery up (if the alternator is not the problem). |
