cannot till 4Gb, anyway, it will only use up to 3.5Gb i think. Current laptop is only 32bit machine (althought C2D processor is 64bit).. unless you refer to "santa rosa" platform  brows.gif

@verticalforce,
Based on last PC Fair prices, the 2GB RAMs weren't worth even looking at!  I believe it ranged between 6-10x the value of the 1GB RAMs... but RAM prices have dropped, though I don't believe the 2GB RAM prices would have dropped too drastically.

From the 'little' reference I happen to still have with me, the prices for the 2GB RAMs are:-

1) 2GB DDR2 667 Mhz Kingston = RM750 (DDR II RAM)
2) 2GB DDR2 667 Mhz Kingston = RM1500 (SO-DIMM RAM)

Anyhow, If u do decide to upgrade your RAM to 2GB and have no use for the 1GB RAM, let me know... I'm sure I wouldn't mind an additional boost on my MBP  smile.gif

That is ****ing expensive. I'm currently in the UK and that prices is a lot more expensive and UK is a pretty expensive place. shocking.gif

That is ridiculous lol. How come the thing is so cheap in the US and yet so expensive in Malaysia. It's not like Government puts a lot of tax on computer's component. I blame the greedy retailers...

I can get 2 X 2gb stick for RM 1800 in the UK, and that is after VAT!

I expect the price to drop a lot within the next 6 months.
