QUOTE(dannytzh @ Aug 14 2007, 11:13 AM) did u tell them that your machine is still under warranty? I believe this is considered manufacture defect because the screw was not tightened properly, thus causing it to drop/fall off at casual usage. Reason with the technician, and tell them you will bring up to consumer court should they insist to charge. Ask for a refund of your macbook or a replacement unit. well i try to negotiate with themYou spent money on something, you want it to be in good condition, and since its under warranty you should utilise it legally and they should oblige to their responsibilities. Juz my 2 cents. but they said that this case caused due to my careless i have tried to convince them that it is as u said,a manufacture defect becoz of coz i won't be careless towards my macbook it cost me a lot of money to buy this baby so they told me to email a picture of the missing screw so they can forward it to Apple Malaysia send it last night hpefully they'll make a wise decision about this thanks for ur advise dannytzh This post has been edited by kapalterbang_737: Aug 14 2007, 03:38 PM |
