Yes, I've installed the FC Studio by a little bit 'hack' (I think 'trick' is more suitable) and can use it properly except in Motion there's probem. Thanks to wei for providing the link. I would suggest you go for at least 1.83Ghz iMac if you are seriously want to use the FCP/FC Studio because the onboard graphic chips will limit some of the funtion (maybe). Dedicated graphic chip will be much more better (of course!)

u said in "motion" there is a problem...may i know whut kind of problem?

of course dedicated graphic is more efficient but based on the review , wiff 2gb of ram the 2.0Ghz macbook still can cope wiff the macbook pro series and G5

so was wondering, are u on 512 mb ram or 1 gb ram or oredi in 2gb of ram?

lastly anione here using macbook dont have any problem in Motion using the "tricks"?

again thanks in advanced

The trick is just only "do not using crossover FC" If you use universal FC it will surely run  icon_idea.gif  Motion would not run, but maybe others will be different  biggrin.gif

I'm on 512 smile.gif
I think I saw a sleeve for 13" laptop at MacStudio in Lowyat. If I'm not wrong, the price is around RM80 - RM90.

Yes, I think so. In order to run the application smoothly must have at least it's minimum requirements. If you can wait, just wait after WWDC next week, who knows there's new spec or even new enclosure for MBP? rclxms.gif
