hi. what kind of ram does the macbook use? i have a laptop with ddr2 533mhz 512mb ram available. can i use that on the macbook?

and also..do any of you guys have any of those heat issues reported all over the web? is it too hot to put on your lap?

i see..beats the purpose of being a laptop then..doesnt it? i remembered my old titanium powerbook being hot too..but not too hot to put on my lap tho..
