Are u getting that wifi problem after ur MB goes to 'sleep'?  I'm having some problems with my wifi connection but i'm unable to determine if it's my router's problem or my MBPs problem (i think it might be the router since i haven't had such problems at the office)

I'm having the same problem as u when I'm at home, and especially more so at home - not too sure about it logging me out of the office network - don't know whether my MBP's ever 'gone to bed' when i'm at the office but most certainly when I wake up in the morning, i'm disconnected from my network at home...

Still not sure if it's the router problem or MBP problem - will let u know when I figure it out but at the same time, if u figure it out, keep me updated too yah? 

Ok.... do i need any special configuration to connect to WIFI (router) ?

Couldn't connect even to "open" connection (searched with iStumbler), then try to connect to all those "open" connection. But then.. connection fail.

I just click on the wifi icon and select connect to that network. Didn't do any tweaking to the configuration... Am i doing something wrongly?

How can i connect macbook pro to internet using bluetooth thru smartphone?

im lost. - all message appear - ppp server prob. cant connect.

Connecting to DIGI network using a Mac running 10.4.6 and a Sony Ericsson K600i

1. Pair your phone with your computer
2. System Preferences > Network
3. Click Bluetooth
4. Click Configure
5. Account Name: digi
Password: diginet
Telephone number: *99#
Save password
5. Click PPP Options and deselect everything
6. Click Bluetooth Modem tab
7. Modem: Ericsson T39 28.8 v110 (your mileage may vary)
8. Show modem status in menu bar
9. Apply now and close System Preferences.
10. Click the phone icon in the menu bar and choose Connect to connect.

Important: The phone's APN must be diginet and not digiwap. On the SE K600i use Settings > Connectivity > Data comm > Data accounts > Edit > APN to see the APN.

Connecting to Maxis GPRS or 3G

For Maxis GPRS, settings are the same except for username, password and telephone number.
Username: maxis
password: wap
telephone number : *99***1#

Phone APN should be net for GRPS, and unet for 3G.

It won't "auto re-fresh" (ok i have no idea what to call it ...)

Situation
For example i downloaded a zip file from the Internet to my Desktop (using FireFox), upon download completion, the file won't show on my Desktop until i "Right Click > Reveal File in Finder" from the Download Window of FIREFOX.

Or another example would be, i extracted the ZIP file, the contain won't show up ...

Any idea what is wrong here?

So, that means I can DIY the rams. From what I understand, OS X is already installed in the current HD rite? So when I get a new HD will they reinstall OS X for me or I also have to DIY that?
