the CD is cheap.....OEM CD media kit about RM100-50 only....

but the OEM license is about RM300++

BootCamp is free....download from apple.com

technically u can... but the only shitty thing is ur windows installation will hv all kinds of dell related links preinstalled...

legally, u may not... as the copy's probably an OEM... smile.gif

i don't think so you can. oem software are meant for the particular computer. if you try to install it will detect the hardware you are using...if it does not match, then it won't install..correct me if i am wrong.

Wei... ok wat... wink.gif Leopard is totally supporting tat wit an improved bootcamp... and besides, the mac hardware is obviously much more superior... OS X will convert lots of windows users... I for one IS converted... and am totally loving OS X... my copy of XP pro is lying thr collecting dust now... hehehe...

Mayb Vista will prove to be better...

thanks supafreak, but i do remember when i wanted to install nero oem that came with my pc on my win laptop, it could not install coz it detected a diff hardware....

for other manufacturers....i am not too sure.......

but for dell....100% can.....coz the OEM disc that came with dell is windows XP OEM disc.....

as i said in my earlier post....when they detected that u are not using a dell, it'll ask u to activate within 30days....

tried and tested....

dude... yea... for nero or some disc burning softwares, it detects tat specific drive tat came bundled wit the software or vice versa... the xp oem for dell really suck cause u get all kinds of crappy dell links tat is not so nice la... well... mayb becoz i'm anal abt this kinda stuff... smile.gif...

yes....u can say that.....

but please bear in mind the bootcamp is still in beta mode...

so there will be a bit of flaws....like drivers and stuff...
