If you want to change file-type's default open application throughout the system, you better do this:
"Right-click --> Get Info" or press "Command (Apple) + i" on the file. In your case any movie files. Let's say it's .avi In the menu look under "Open with:" Change the application to your desired. Then very important click "Change All...". ![]() Upon restart or re-login, you'll realise all the icon will be updated as well. This is take effect to all similiar file type. What MacDaNife mentioned will only affect the specific files you selected. |

you should save your password and add your Wifi hotsport into your favourite list, then your Mac OS will reconnect automatically whenever it get disconnected.

you can turn off the brighness, you can turn off the display by setting your energy saving. Once you close ur lid it will goes to sleep, therefore disconnecting all attached devices & network.
