Hi guys, just want to ask something. I've just used Asus RT-N12HP as my main router changing the old router D-link DIR-615 that was provided by TM Unifi, my question is, Im subscribed for the 5Mbps and by using rt-n12hp, my wireless signal speed is just 144Mbits, is the speed is good enough or it should be more? Plus is there other tweak to increase the signal range in the setting menu? My room is just <33feet away from the router with 3 layers wall (a single storey house, the router is at living room while my room is near to the kitchen at the back). Thank you guys

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Mar 19 2015, 10:59 AM) how do u measure yr wifi speed n coverage? what was speed using ethernet? how does new router performance compared to old one? for houses, that distance, wifi or ethernet should be about the same, i.e. close to theoretical max 5mbps or 0.625MBps. I just simply measure with network utilities using Mac and by using ethernet I get 100mbits only (weird) and yes I wonder its not the same with witeless connection. Btw I wonder why my coverage, using iphone, didnt get full bar and sometime the signal drop one bar? Thank you mate for the info
