Art Enthusiast Senior Member 1,468 posts Joined: Jul 2011	1. Preferred Brand ACER / LENOVO / DELL 2. Budget 2k-2.5k 3. Usage Mainly for design, motion/video, 3D works Game? Rarely.. 4. Preferred laptop/screen size current laptop screen size is 14.0".. I think its enough for me already. what i have in my mind now Lenovo Z400? acer aspire V5? Touch+w8+2gb nvidia 2299 dell inspiron 15R? which one is better.. and Z400 i5 I asked a few shops all not in stock, only the i7 one which is out of my budget. Budget: RM3000 MAX (not going to top up anymore) Usage: 3D rendering, animation and heavy graphic works Preferred laptop/screen size: 14.0,15,15.6 ... Prefer Nvidia graphic card.. heard that Nvidia card is better for graphic works, is this true? If possible, light-weight.. not too heavy can dy.. and another thing I'm worrying is overheat problem, cuz usually I'll be using the laptop for hours continuously.. for my usage most ppl will recomend pc but im not looking into PC for now cuz PC is not mobile This post has been edited by Gmruleme: May 1 2013, 12:28 PM

Thanks for the suggestion +1 I think I'll go for lenovo Y400.. backlit keyboard seems tempting, if Z400 has i7 option I'll consider. if I go for i5.. I think there'll be different in performance (rendering works?).. and i7 temperature wll reach 55C even idle state?? wtf??????? that means I must get a laptop cooler fan.. -.- if i7 does a better job than i5 then I'll definitely choose i7 since I've the budget.. >< but overheat... sighhhhhhh sounds scary...
