Am looking for advices to buy a new laptop to replace my very old Asus F81SE. Nice laptop just getting old and it's burning my hand go up to 107 C on my hardware monitor (average usage no gaming 80-95 C)
Requirements:
15.6 inch screen (not necessary Full HD)
Intel i5/i7 (preferable 3M L cache above)
Budget range around RM2,000 - RM3000.
Good cooling features
Hard disk 500GB bigger the better with 5,400rpm or higher/ SSD also not bad
At least 2x USB 3.0
Minimum 4GB RAM DDR3 or better
Proper graphic card for some gaming and editing (Preferable 2GB RAM over)
Good build quality and value for money
Warranty issues (best support international type)
Usage:
Heavy on - worksheets (like microsoft excel and word), surfing, movies and music
Moderate to light on - gaming and video/photo editing
Couldn't decide which model in my mind yet:
1) ASUS N56VB - S3070H
2) ASUS S550CB - CJ102H
3) ASUS S56CB - XX390H
4) Lenovo Y500
5) Lenovo Z500
What's the pros and cons between these laptops? I heard ASUS N56VB will warm up your palm if you push the performance like gaming. ASUS S550CB lack of performance compared to the rest and it's just 1x USB 3.0.
Many thanks for useful advices. Cheers!!!
