You can pretty much get RAM and SSD anywhere, or maybe you can ask from the laptop seller and you might get some discount

A 4GB ram stick typically costs around RM90+ (due to the recent ram price hike )

240GB or 256GB SSDs usually go for around RM500+ I recommend the Intel 335 series 240GB SSD

Go for the non Touch model then:

Z400, i5-3230M + Nvidia GT740M@RM2099, 4GB, 1TB, W8; 2 years warranty; colors: chocolate

Pay more $$$ to get more discount. From my experience, let's just say you just want to buy a RM1.7k Dell Vostro 5460, the Sales Agent would probably throw you a free bag only. If you pay RM2k, you might get RM50 off and that free bag. Last time I got my Dell laptop at RM3.6k I got like RM200+ discount and a free bag

Anyways, as for tips on how to bargain, you can just say you're a student and lacking $$$ as RMXXXX is the only amount you can afford, bla bla bla you get the gist
