ARM processor won't outperform a x86 processor at the moment. Intel atom score higher than any latest ARM on the market.

consider this?

ASUS G55VW-S1216H, i7-3630QM +Nvidia GTX660M (2GB) + (1920x1080)@RM3999[3.78kg], 4GB, 1TB(5400rpm), W8
Lenovo Ideapad Y500, i7-3630QM + Nvidia GT650M + (1920x1080)@RM3799, 4GB, 500GB, W8; GN36 exGPU, 120W & 170W AC adapter
Acer V3-571G-736b8G1T, i7-3630QM + Nvidia GT730M(DDR3) + (1920x1080 IPS) @RM2899[2.6kg], 8GB, 1TB, W8

i cant help you to avoid numpad as 15" models are commonly come with numpad. but i can say the best pick is Acer v3, due to its newer generation graphics card and full HD IPS display for colour rich and vibrance, so you can watch movies in great pleasure. biggrin.gif

that lenovo is non graphics card equipped. but i can see the weakness is that its heavier than ultrabooks, keyboard flex, dull screen and short battery life. these cons are bearable.

the ASUS seems to be too rare. sad.gif

Wanna ask about a model - Asus S56CM-XX276H?
-3rd Gen Intel Core i7-3517U
-Geforce GT635M
-2x4 gb ram

Is it suitable for gaming? If compared to normal i7-QM model, is it a big difference in performance?

this is the best bang of buck you can get. biggrin.gif

Lenovo Z400, i5-3230M + Nvidia GT740M@RM2099, 4GB, 1TB, W8; 2 years warranty; colors: chocolate

save the remaining budget and extend the warranty to 3 years and upgrade the RAM to 8GB.
