V5-471G-53334G50, i3-3227U + Intel HD4000 + (1366x768; touch)@RM1899, 4GB, 500GB, W8Thank you. G480, i5-3230M + Nvidia GT635M@RM1899, 4GB, 1TB (5400rpm), W8, 2 yrs warranty Z480, i5-3230M + Nvidia GT640M@RM1999, 4GB, 1TB(5400rpm) W8, colors: grey/red/blue Do you means these three? The V5 has touch screen. Otherwise, it is totally out-spec by the others. Z480 is better than G480. (If you have look at the real things of this 2 models, you don't need us to tell you this This post has been edited by nexus2238: Apr 17 2013, 04:52 PM |

QUOTE(snowberry @ Apr 17 2013, 04:49 PM) hi bro, i dont think the lenovo is a good deal. it has 2GB RAM, freeDOS which means it comes without windows installed. so IMO, dell will be better.the lenovo ideapad seems to have the better spec, i5 and a better Graphic card compare to the other 2 right? if my budget is 1.8k do u suggest this model? |

TyDell Inspiron 15R, i7-3537U + AMD HD8730M + (1920x1980; anti-glare)@RM3299[2.32kg], 8GB, 1TB(5400rpm), W8SL Illegear RE-15, i5-3210M + Nvidia GTX660M + (1920x1080)@RM3299, 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), FreeDOS [CPU Options: i5-3210M - i7-3840XM] the acer cant perform as well as Y500 but the screen is definitely, no other laptops except hybrids can compete with. the acer v3 uses IPS display, means you have better view angles, sharper colours and vibrance. it is a good deal if you want to watch movies on it. also, the GT730M is about on par with GT650M. since you are into MMORPG only, you dont need an extreme graphics card. |

Brand - i prefer other brands than acer, dell, and asus.
Budget - around 3k Usage - used for working as programmer, and able to play some of the online games that require some graphics (Guild Wars 2, Dota 2, Dragon Nest) at least with 30fps and above... Screen size - prefer 15 inch. i have an extra SSD that is unused. is there any laptop with the requirement above will have additional slot for SSD ? or is there a way to mount the SSD in a normal laptop without much screwing and sorts? |
