If you are only comparing the GPU performance, it depends. If you are into gaming the performance is more or less on par in between the GT750M and the GTX660M.
However, if you are into software support (photoshop, bioinformatics etc.), the GTX660m will offer a better edge~

They are the same in terms of performance. VRAM doesn't affect performance (DON'T listen to what the salesperson tell you that higher is better!)

No they don't have overheating problems... they just get hot when on load (gaming/rendering), just like all laptops do
