Mah Sing plans RM800m mixed devt project in Sg Buloh

KUALA LUMPUR: Mah Sing Group Bhd has bought 6.55 acres of land in Sungai Buloh near the Rubber Research Institute of Malaysia (RRIM) for RM85mil for a mixed development project worth RM800mil.
It said on Wednesday the project, named D'sara Sentral, is located diagonally opposite the upcoming MRT station next to the RRIM land and will be developed over three to five years.
D'sara Sentral's three components include small office versatile office, retail space and serviced residences. It will be linked to the MRT station via a pedestrian bridge.
This will be the first station after the Sungai Buloh terminal. D'sara Sentral will also be one of the first developments in the Klang Valley with a direct link to a MRT station.
It is expected to tap the matured and affluent catchments from Sierramas, Valencia, Kepong, Selayang, TTDI, Kota Damansara and Bandar Utama, Mah Sing said.
With this acquisition, Mah Sing now has 41 projects with remaining gross development value and unbilled sales of about RM19.7bil spread across the Klang Valley, Penang, Iskandar Malaysia and Kota Kinabalu.
