You will need to try to aim for 10-14 per hunt from plains, but 7-10 is understandable from desert. 8-12 should be the norm in volcano and snowfield using iphones...

Iphone a bit more cramped. Get ipad2 (or newer) to experience GC properly...

On a good hunt, ipad hunting should get you 16-20+ on plains and 12-18 on each of the other hunting grounds.
