QUOTE(megadisc @ Oct 29 2011, 11:04 AM) was thiking of doing since ...my power aread 700++ for both eyes But advance vision is using the normal lasik. the traditional one.but i'm in jb ... if 2888 for both eyes then not so bad lah anyone got lobang for jb wan ???/ same price ??? around there lah ... optim an vista price is worst in jb ...nearly 3K for an eye... jia lat man I found out Center for Sight (CFS) in PJ using the machine - VISX STAR S4 IR Excimer Laser System with Custom Vue It is the same machine Vista is using for their NASA HD package - $4988 per eye. Well, CFS only charges $3966 BOTH EYE. The only different is Vista using laser to open ur cornea, while CFS uses blade. |

was recommended to perform ASA (advance surface ablation) procedure instead. Due to my cornea is thin. Doc says this procedure will take longer to heal 3~4 weeks time. what is your view on it?

QUOTE(megadisc @ Feb 22 2012, 09:24 AM) that's great new if u play contact sports often, the doctor will recommend u to perform Lasek instead of Lasik.plan to do it soon since it will be helpful for my badminton leh wouldnt that be much better since i'm more of a sports person lah Lasek will take longer to heal and it will not cut ur cornea. talk to ur doctor about it. |

QUOTE(lattowhite @ Oct 8 2012, 12:29 PM) Yes I did mine at Advance vision. It has been more than a year now and the result is still good! bro, may u tell me which procedure u did with AV ? is it custom vue? wondering what machine they use for the Rm2.8k package?I don't like Vista and Optimax as I feel that they are trying to make more money from their patients. They told me that my eye condition is not suitable for the cheapest method, I have to go for medium package or the most expensive one. But end up I did it at Advance vision at only RM 2888!! Then Vista was asking me to go for further check up because the doctor suspected my eyes got some problem, so before the surgery it is better to go for cehck up to make sure my condition is fit for the surgery. I did the check up and it cost RM 400!! The doctor who did the check up (another doctor) told me that everything is good and there is no sympton at all! I was so annoyed and I told my friend about htat! Then my friend recommended me to Advance Vision where she had her surgery there too. Added on October 8, 2012, 12:33 pm Try to check with Advance Vision, http://www.advancevision.net.my/ I did mine there. I was being told by Optimax that I can't do the normal lasik surgery too then I have to pay more for another type. So I went Advance Vision and I did mine there at only RM 2,888!! The result is still good after one year! |

QUOTE(lattowhite @ Oct 8 2012, 04:49 PM) I think there are only 2 types in Advance Vision, RM 2,888 and another is RM 5k+ which is tissue saving method but the doctor said my power is not that high and it is not necessary to go for RM 5k+ method. Of course if I want they can still do for me. I am not sure what machine do they use, perhaps you can just go there for consultation to find out, it's free anyway. i see..may i know how much was your power before surgery ? |

hello,
i have just came across this new procedure called ReLex Smile. After some researching on the net, I found that this by far is the safest procedure. I think it is a fairly new procedure, just like to ask if anyone have tried it and is it really safe and as good as the reviews? |
