ICL is the best vision. Better than lasik. Better than femto. Always go for icl if can afford it. And it doesn’t alter ur cornea significantly.

Lasik old tech (got a lot of safety and long term data ) is predictable, can do custom based on ur eyes and can do easy touch up since flap will always be there. Got new upgraded custom scanning machine able to scan and use AI for increased customisation since outcome is very predictable. Increase risk of dry eyes

Femto, new tech (no long term data ) takes longer healing time, variability in targeting.Cannot do custom (though some claiming got custom but it’s fake news ) and if need to do touch up, then need to fall back to prk.

I think your last paragraph is referring to Relex Smile, not femto.

Yes ure right. Zeiss used femto for their Reflex smile create lenticule to shape stromal bed. End of this year there will be another company with their femto for a similar procedure and they will name it something else. Femto can also be used for the early steps of cataract surgery.

Also one thing that no one tells you is that once they reshape ur cornea today. In 20 or 30 years time when u need to do cataract surgery the surgeon would need to know ur original K readings. Please keep that data or not they will have to use formulas to guesstimate

Icl doesn’t have all these problems. True HD vision, less chance of dry eyes risk, no long term issues. But pls do get the original icl and get a good dr. No promo promo.
