My vision is still a bit blurry after 1 month PRK. I could not see the projector clearly from the back. I depend on phone camera.

U might need another 1-2 months to fully recover from PRK or ASA. Where did u done the PRK? What did the doctor said on the latest follow up?

Custom femto lasik offers much faster and better recovery than PRK. U can see clear the next day or a week after surgery, thanks.

I did ASA at Optimax TTDI. RM3000 but when I was at the lobby in April before the eye surgery. All the walk-in customers was told that RM1000 increased to RM4000. Those jan-mar sign up are eligible for RM3000

I did mine on Thursday by Dr Nor Zainura Zainal. Its ASA, not TESA. May be TESA not yet started on April.

yup... i was at ISEC... every follow up will be charge.
cant recall the bill as it was like 200++
something like 80-100 for a few check and test ( each take no more than 5 mins)
then another 100-120 for consultation....
then eye drops or any medications will be another 50 or so.

while the test and consultation is like 15-20 mins the most- prepare to wait for 2-3 hours. as it is very pack despite appointment made.

Thanks. Concludes that Optimax is the cheapest.

I paid RM3000 done on 04-04-2019. Can see front car number plate when driving but cannot pass the medical checkup eye test. Still need to go back check up after 2 weeks. Since it is cheap, I dont expect much.

In Optimax, we can choose among PRK, Lasik and Smile.
In Vista, only Lasik.
Smile is the latest technology.
Anyone recommend other than Optimax, any clinic can do Smile in KL?

During promotion, Vista charge RM68 for Test and Consultation from the doctor. (No medical report)
I was told, cannot do Lasik.
So RM68 burned.

After that, I call Optimax and got free Preliminary Test in Optimax with consultation by the Optician (Not Doctor)
Its FOC. (No medical report)

No Lasik and Smile. Only PRK for me.
My corneal thickness too thin, only 500µm
To save corneal tissue, so do PRK.
Those thick corneal can do Lasik and smile.
For those higher eye power, need to shape more corneal and need more corneal thickness.

PRK takes long time to recover (3 months to 6 months)
Some parient in Youtube told that recover in 1 - 2 months.
All tipu one.
Youtube got some doctor give sharing 3 - 6 months.

After confirm doing, we need to do the test again which costs RM195. (With Medical Report)
All by the optician.
The report to be reviewed by the doctor.
After 1 - 2 days, can only know the arrangement.

No chance to see the doctor in Optimax until the surgery day.
The next day after surgery for follow up, its the last chance to meet the doctor.

After that, all follow up by the optician. (Follow up all FOC)

Done all in Optimax in lowest cost.
Its Eye Surgery for budget patient.

No matter PRK, Lasik or Smile.
All done by Custom Fento in Optimax.
I think most of he clinic using Custom Femto unless those very small or budget tight clinic running in small scale.

Try understand more among PRK, LASIK, SMILE and ICL. I personally recommend PRK and SMILE after going through more than 3 months of studying among them.

Relex Smile is a bit risky. Better going to Optimax. Lasik can go to normal hospital.

Relex Smile is more than 5 years in Optimax but it is still risky compared to other procedure such as PRK and LASIK.

If there are hospitals just started Relex Smile recently, please think twice. Even few years back by Optimax, I dare not try too.

When performing LASIK or SMILE, the potential complications include ectasia, diffuse lamellar keratitis, epithelial ingrowth, and decentration – but SMILE also brings the risk of a unique, novel complication of incomplete lenticule removal.

Done TransPRK at the Advance Vision Eye. smile.gif

Nearly a month and vision seems better than wearing glass previously now. No dry eye issue.

Bro, how much?
Few years back my friend got Lasik done at RM3000 but there was no transprk that time.
