QUOTE(jialat @ Jul 1 2022, 11:24 PM) Nope, its not more risky than any younger eyes. But you need reading glasses after lasik. Can I get your opinion. will it be better to do cataract surgery to replace the lens instead? I don't have cataract currently but is at the age where start to develop long sighted. Has been wearing glasses for short sighted for decades. Was getting tired of wearing glasses and heard that if I do a lens exchange, then can solve my problem. If I do lasik, I still need to wear reading glasses, sames goes for ICL. Besides the good thing about doing cataract surgery now is that I won't get cataract in future.... What is your opinion on this?

QUOTE(jialat @ Sep 17 2022, 09:52 AM) Hi, your original crystalline lens is protecting the retina from harmful light, if u remove them, just make sure u wear good lenses when u use electronic gadgets, in the end u still need glasses lens that cut gadgets blue light and UV ray from sunlight. I donβt recommend lens replacement unless cataract has affected your vision badly. I see. Thank you for yr advice and opinion.

QUOTE(SgtBoi @ Mar 4 2023, 10:26 PM) Hi guys! Iβd like to seek your kind advice for my case. High short sighted for both eyes: ~925 per eye High astig: ~200 per eye Consulted Vista with my all the necessary checking and been told my condition is suitable for either tissue saving LASIK or ICL. With my high power above, may I ask if ICL is really more suitable in long run? Or should I seek for a second opinion? ππ» Another thing to take into consideration is your age.

QUOTE(SgtBoi @ Mar 7 2023, 08:49 PM) Many thanks for your kind advice! ππ» noted you had recommended Dr. Ainul in other posts. May I ask if he accepts any walk-in patients? Or do you still providing referral letter? Thank you for your comment too! Would age 34 be too old to do this surgery? Nope age 34 is still OK... to proceed with Lasik or ICL If you are at age 40 and above. IOL may become a better option
