I had lasik before these so-called doctors hide secrets from us. 1. After about 5-10 years, our vision will worsen and we need glasses again. 2. The cornea thickness will be thinner because they laser it off , and your eyes become very dry. If they told me in the past, I won't get lasik. Unless your eyepower is very high, eg. more than 800, then don't do lasik. It's cheating money |

QUOTE(mister 288 @ Apr 15 2020, 09:45 AM) if you eye power is high above 800, it will take very long time to recover. Nonsense! I had power above 800, after lasik got 20/20 perfect vision the next day.and even after 6 months , the vision still will be blurry and wont be sharp as before. But those surgeons didn't tell people that after 10 years, the power will increase again. |

QUOTE(not slow n timid @ Apr 24 2020, 12:41 PM) i had power 900. it's been 3 months after surgery. i had been using all their drops and eatv vtamins diligently. mine was done at advance vision damansara. OK. Sorry to doubt your experience.but I'm still having slightly blurry vision even today. if you read back the old replies in this thread you can find similar testimony also. i would that my vision is far from perfect compare to when i was using glasses. so don't use the word "nonsense" just because your experience is better than others I think it's because you went to the wrong doctor, a lot of doctors aren't really qualified to do lasik. There're lots of unethical people in Malaysia (unlike western countries) just out to earn money at expense of patients. Slight blurry is alright, it is better than overlasik which will burn off more cornea than necessary. Once your cornea is burned off, it can't grow back and you can't do another lasik anymore in the future if cornea is too thin. I found that out years later when I had dry eyes because of thin cornea. They never tell us the cons. Only the pros. This post has been edited by Arhat: Apr 24 2020, 11:22 PM |

QUOTE(not slow n timid @ Apr 25 2020, 05:46 PM) that advance vision doc has done literally thousands of surgeries in his career. BUT i suspect the machine or tech that they use is outdated compare to other companies. Thousands of surgeries? Did you confirm with those thousands of ex-patients whether they were satisfied with the doctor? Ask the doctor to give you one hundred ex-patient list to visit.and also problem is my own eye sight recovery really too slow for don't know what reason Don't be easily cheated by these so-called doctors. I was as young as you and believe in what they said but no more. They are only after money and not customer satisfaction. |
