if the treatment zone is smaller than your night scotopic (dim light environment) pupil size, then you will experience glares forever.

its important to find corneal specialist to get all pre lasik check and decide the treatment zone, choose your surgeon wisely.

Hi guys! I’d like to seek your kind advice for my case.
High short sighted for both eyes: ~925 per eye
High astig: ~200 per eye
Consulted Vista with my all the necessary checking and been told my condition is suitable for either tissue saving LASIK or ICL.
With my high power above, may I ask if ICL is really more suitable in long run? Or should I seek for a second opinion? 🙏🏻

yes always get a second opinion from corneal specialist, and do the Belin Ambrósio test to check on post lasik ectasia risk.

you only have 1 pair of eyes, once done, no return to original state!

Hi all, i have found another eye specialist that can do a great job for custom femto lasik in klang valley, RM 7380 for 2 eyes.

Preliminary test is free, if proceed to do full test with Belin/Ambrosio test then pay rm250 only, and its fully reimbursed on surgery day.

Then free 1 year follow up post lasik.

Yes, much cheaper, just rm250 for full test and consultation with the eye specialist. It will be reimbursed on surgery day, so you only pay rm7380-250 = rm 7130 for the surgery. Technically the full test and consultation fee are waived off if you proceed to do the surgery.

There are 2 doctors in that eye centre, just make sure you consult the correct one, and the doctor will be extra careful if its through my referral because comparison will be made with other doctors.
