hard to describe but ghosting and shadow are quite commonly described by these patients.

I have not came across any yet for femto lasik patients. I heard from seniors that many suffered from this esp those use blade for flap.

Hi Jialat

How about post relex smile patient?

Remember that you told me b4 your doctor friend - post relex smile has some issue with one of his eye. His VA drop to 6/9 . But with glasses does he get a clear vision?

Yes, Dr. Theng's clinic is located at Mount Alvernia Hospital in Sg. I just had lasik assessment with him on last Saturday. He assessed my case and told me confidently that my case is not challenging for him. I went together with a friend of high astig who was previously rejected by another doctor. Dr. Theng accepted his case but required him to do corneal collagen cross-linking treatment. My friend was a bit skeptical too but when Dr. Theng told him that his record so far has 100% success rate so my friend was convinced.

The total cost for my case is about $4300 including all pre and post check up and medication. Definitely more expensive than Malaysia but given him a reputable surgeon in Singapore I think this price is justifiable. Anyway, he is fully booked for this year. I have to wait until next January to perform the surgery.

I feel that the lasik assessment from this clinic is more professional than Optimax. Reason because they have specialist to handle different equipment and to collect different data and then doctor will perform final checkup and make the assessment. Whereas Optimax has one optometrist did everything and told me the result. Maybe that is just sale strategy but it definitely gives me more confidence. Just my own experience though.

hi there Really Confuse,

She did the surgery for almost 2 months already, so far everything is good. She can see without glasses of course haha but still in recovery state. The doctor said she need to wait at least 6 months to get to the full recovery state. Her eyes still got a bit blur 1 side from the surgery but it is very minor, since the doc said that 1 is the after surgery effect. Other than that, her eyes is will feel slightly dry under aircond, but with some eye drop everything will be fine. Next week she will go for another regular check up, hope got good news from the doctor.

Anyway, i still think the key to get recover fast is to rest more and dont face too much on electronic gadgets. hahaha...
Aside from my gf, how is your eyes Really Confuse?
*
Hi Miner88

thumbsup.gif she is recovery well.

She underwent ASA ? Do you mind to tell what is her pre op power ?
May i know which surgeon ? Bc i am still looking for a good eye specialist .

Almost a year from initial surgery.
My case is quite complicated . one eye can function .but the other eye underwent relex smile really trouble me and affecting my daily activity.
Now doctors from lasik centre told me enhancement cant rectify my poor result and negative effect ...what is the use of lifetime warranty?????
Well , result of this eye will tell how good is this irresponsible surgeon.....
In touch with other post lasik patient ,none of them end up with this type of negative effect....

Yes. you are rite on this statement."Anyway, i still think the key to get recover fast is to rest more and dont face too much on electronic gadgets."

But my case is diff , i know well surgery not smooth . other doctor did washout (another eye surgery) within 1 mth due to debris left in the eye then created another scar.

That is y i say . " Choose your surgeon wisely"

Hi Really Confuse,

I would like to clarify the situation. you have greatly  misunderstood me.
I'm having the same issue as you. What ever I've told you, it was true.
I don't like to bring up things in forum, therefore, I PM you personally.
This forum is a public forum, anyone can read, including the lasik center.

Also, don't accuse me of things before I even have the chance to explain.
We are both suffering here. Both physically and psychologically due to mistakes done by the lasik industry.

I have PM you my personal number. So call me, so we can clarify this.

Well wishes and Thank You.

They dont promote it like they promote LASIK and Cataract.
When you called obviously its gonna be the front desk who will answer your question.
go find the dr instead.

ok, im not sure why you want to ask this publicly. like i said, whatever i told you, its true.

I have nothing to hide from public .

I am having this post op refractive surgery issue and seeking for help , there are some kind hearted member here might be able to help. That's all

Or maybe there are some suffer silently , who knows information posted by other member might be useful to them .

Just like you, i'm also suffering the same situation. Yes, I did the enhancement. Im not sure its gonna recover 100% or not. I'm worried also.
Therefore, I approach you. I realized you are still having the problem. Also hoping I can lend my support to you and share my experience with you.
Yet you simply just accused me.

If you dont believe me, go to TTDI yourself and inquire.

Hi miyoko28

I am sorry if u are truly a patient who is suffering .considering update your progress here ? so other members can understand more.

Please read below msg from jialat.that confirmation come from optimax management. not front desk staff.

Just double checked with a corneal surgeon, custom femto lasik cant help much for post relex, maybe have to do PRK for relex smile undercorrection.
I havent heard from anyone in Msia is having topo guided femto lasik yet. this is better than relex smile, they would have promoted it if its available.

i think relex smile is not suitable for high myopia, thus many are having problem with it. Here we got 3 members (really confuse, miyoko28, and my doctor friend) that failed relex.

Hi Jialat

earlier u mentioned that u have a contact whereby he/she has post op ectasia rite ?
is post op femto or post op relex smile?

I was given the perception of topo-guided femto-lasik.
But on the day of surgery, they asked me to tick 'circle' on the form.

Does Dr.Stephen mention this treatment type " topo-guided femto-lasik" to you during check up/consultation ?

Dr.stephen did this enhancement for you at optimax TTDI or Optimax penang?

u didn't ask why tick "circle" ?

Hi miyoko28

Explanation mentioned by you as above is from Dr.Stephen or optometrist ?

Your eye show any improvement ? how is your check up after enhancement ?

What else was stated in the form? I mean option of enhancement treatment ?

Does Dr.Stephen explain to you thru out the whole enhancement treatment step by step ? Surely you are awake during surgery and able to know what happen ../

mind to share ?

thank you
