i think it is difficult to build a Chinese school in cyberjaya,,,,many malays will sure complain , wat to do?

in fact many ppl dun know , msia chinese school do attract many foreigner to study.  they like to have multi lingua environment especially to learn some chinese.  I have many fren in Korea send their children here to study in srjk

Small number of people suddenly become "many foreigner"(s) ?

I also know "many" chinese send their kids to private school. Is you foreigner foreigner friend more "many" than my "many" local chinese ?

I dont see any reason why there's going to be any malays opposing this move. I have many Malay friends sending kids to Chinese schools and they too want to see a Chinese school in Cyber.

I hope this school will launch soon.

The word "many" is the problem here.

"Many foreigner"(s) sending their kids to srjk ?

"Many malays" sending their kids to srjk ?

5 people or 10 people ? Is that considered "many" ?

For me, it's a matter of fact that :-

1. "Some" malays are opposed to having more srjk schools. They are most of the time the vocal ones.
So it appears to be more "many" than actually is.

2. "Some" malays are sending their kids to srjk schools.

3. "Many" are not opposed to having more Chinese schools.
But these are less vocal.

4. "Many" chinese are sending their kids to non-srjk schools.

The problem of Cyberjaya to have a chinese school, the first thing to be fixed is cyberjaya must increase it's night population. You may say it's chicken and egg problem, but for this case, the population must come first. For example Puchong there are so high demand for Chinese schools then only slowly the chinese schools will increase.

Not the other way round. No way !

I hope the error in the title of this thread can be fixed. Change "lastly" to either "at last" or "finally". Tak boleh tahan a title to have words wrongly used .... Kakaka.

华教 i think is too stressful. I like english education. Mainly internation school. O level and A level.

You have a point there. Chinese education the syllabus quite hectic, and plus the parents a lot of times inject further pressure to their kids, consciously and unconsciously.

The actual subject that make the kids stressful in Chinese primary is not mandarin. It is BM, pemahaman dan penulisan of BM is the one that kill the kids

This is a subject which can be debated on and on but if we just compare the time that Chinese school students spend on school work is much longer. If one happens to send 2 kids to two different streams then can see the obvious difference.
