I don't understand how the streaming community can sustain themselves when the only segment who can stream on Twitch in any capacity are people who can afford them overpriced internet.

Also, the VOD system is incredibly unfriendly towards low-end broadband here. On top of the forced source quality on VODs, the 2-to-3 month time limit for an archived VOD's availability and the poor optimization of streaming video quality options makes Twitch really shitty to use.

This is clearly a service tailored for high-end users on both the streamers' and viewers' sides.

Everyone's been dropping that term back in August when Twitch started muting archived streams with copyrighted music and deleting videos older than 2 months.
