hello there. im new at Lowyat forum. im interested to do MBBS at AIMST, i asked around and a friend recommend me here to find out more. so i was reading this thread for an hour plus and only reached to page 10. so i gave up and thought of why not i ask my questions, hoping someone would answer me directly instead of searching through the 90pages until my eyeballs come off. i just finished my stpm cgpa 3.5. received call from AIMST on monday asking me whether i want to accept to enter the MBBS course. i said yes and they said offer letter would be sent. and i thought i was the only one who noticed that the admin of AIMST thosewho handling calls are rude and they kept passing u to another line when u actually dialed the correct extension number.

my questions are :
1- the 220K is for ? course fee only? since its stated that students must stay in the campus for 1st 2yrs, is the accomodation included in the 220k?
2- the classes are daily ? monday till friday? there will be sem breaks is it? when?
3- books needed are purchased where?
4- ptptn loan is quite a sure-will-get-150K?
5- is JPA scholarship offered?

i hope someone would provide me with compact and precise answers to my questions. im quite certain il be heading to aimst, so i need assurance for my doubts, thus i asked the above questions.

i just received my offer letter for MBBS today.at 1st i thought the accomodation is included with the 220K since its stated compulsory to stay in campus for 1st 2years.and i would like to know,the other day i read newspaper on AIMST advertisement which they promoting roadshows,its stated financial are such : a)PTPTN, b)Through EPF, c)JPA scholarship.do anyone of u know anyone who is AIMST and under JPA scholarship doing MBBS?im after STPM.because i come from a middle class family,just enough to eat.so was wondering besides PTPTN what else i can seek for.besides that,books,are they costly?and if PTPTN,roughly when only we will start getting money to pay?and to any STPM leavers who are doing MBBS now,is the biology and chemistry in form6 helpful for MBBS?because as preparation,maybe i could look through the textbooks to get myself ready! :-) thank you all very much!

can u pls share more about ureself in AIMST? u stay in hostel or outside? if outside, is it easy to find a place? the laundry service is how? and besides that, is there much co-cu activities there? do they have sports carnival etc?

i would like to ask those stayed/still staying in the hostel provided by AIMST.

how is it like? big? since its 4 to a room, i wonder how cramped it will be. its a room or like an apartment with a room only? there's hall? what about toilet? one to share for all?

the weekend at AIMST is fri and sat or sat and sun?

by the way, i would like to ask those staying in the hostel provided, is it near to the campus? travel mode from hostel to campus?

besides that, are food provided during the weekend?

about laundry, losing clothes, is it common? need to label?

and is it necessary to get broadband? can we access to internet in the hostel?

by the way, can bring iron there? or the laundry includes ironing?
