mounting wise I am not sure already.  sweat.gif

Nowadays when it says "mechanical switch" it is not necessarily must be Cherry Corp switches... Because there's bootleg Cherry switches named Kailh (Kai Hua)

Guys helppp

Recommend me a keyboard specifically for use with extensive typing such as programming. Budget below <RM300

Am getting soooo confused with all the keyboard types  rclxub.gif
Currently interested in razer black widow (since it is the only one mechanical keyboard I ever tested) but then the font and all the colors looks to funky
*
Rosewill RK9000 will fit your bill just nice. You can try out all the switch type first before buying but I am guessing you may like the MX Blue. laugh.gif

We payed around the end of December expecting a Poker I to arrive late Feb but then Vortex said they're pushing the Poker II so we'll have a brand spanking new Poker II for RMX00 by May-ish (IIRC) but more than half dropped out so it had to be cancelled.
*
I wonder why sad.gif
That pricetag is so damn good for a brand new Poker 2, and yet they drop out. I don't know what to say. doh.gif

1 question about the o-rings ... It will only lower the typing sound? will it affect other things too?
*
Key travel will reduce depends on how many o-rings you put into the keycap (well usually people just put one on each cap).
The typing feeling will change as well, you can feel a little more bouncy when you bottom out. Some people like this feel but some don't. smile.gif

take it as longer term investment, so u don't need to spend more next time tongue.gif

that pbt is much smoother compared to other pbt i got before.
it is thick ! it really gives nicer feeling to type compared to non-thick pbt or even cheap abs.

but it's still up to your choice at last tongue.gif
for non-thick pbt look for vortex/kbc better.
Keycool is cheap but its pbt feels too rough to be honest. that was from my previous 87 grey pbt model.
*
I like Keycool's POM caps tongue.gif
For PBT, I prefer the black engraved from KBC, feels really nice. biggrin.gif

Now waiting for thick PBT Ducky, expecting it to be more or less the same as imsto's one

Yup, I did take a look at your sig. Not interested in tankyless keyboards though, I value the numberpad a lot =)
Thanks for the links. I checked them both. Daskeyboard is sold pretty expensive though, as compared to the brand's official site. But that's excludin shippinng and all that ofc. The Ducky Zero is pretty reasonable though. But I don't like illuminated keypads. I could turn off the lighting right? I'm basically looking for an entry-level blue switch, and as simple and plain as possible. Not looking for fancy stuff like backlight and macro keys and all that. Any suggestions?
Haha, I'm quiet a down-to-earth guy and don't want unnecessary attention. And not everybody likes the clicky sound, eventhough I really do. It's the main reason I'm looking for a blue switch one haha.
*
Entry level MX Blue? Either Ducky Zero or Rosewill RK9000 will suit your need. Both of them do not have backlighting.

forummer edifier is inter-asia...

by the way, the computer shop you mention is CEX. they ended their business already, so there's no point looking for them.

Even worst, I have a gpu sent warranty from them before they went out of business, until now I contact the boss his attitude like tak peduli....  vmad.gif

+1 for CEX's lousy attitude.
For now I won't buy any more Filco from Malaysia, not even from Inter-Asia directly, unless there's a better distributor decided to carry them. That Edifier guy also does not seems responsive at all.

So far I find Cyntrix's customer service nice. Dealing with them saves me a lot of hassle especially when they have good attitude when I try to talk to them.

Inter-Asia not active. buyer suffer.
China selling so expensive that we are paying too much extra. We suffer also.

That's when I bought my filco from TB, 900RMB + shipping fee and after converted is really  rclxub.gif

If you have friends at Japan, they can get Filco from Amazon Japan for you. Since Japanese Yen is very low now, you can get a Filco board for RM300+ brows.gif

Generally most PBT material keycaps printing wont wear off so easily. Most of them are Dye Sub.
*
actually more PBT caps in the market are laser etched. Dye sub caps are very expensive lol
