haha... kyrmian, i'm sure you will get one again in the future!!!! Have to admit, that the South Koreans really are way ahead in the keyboard game!!!! it's another level already
btw, did anyone here really ordered KMAC Happy??? I thought now only through KBDMOD? (Which most foreigner cant because they require you to authenticate using a Korean phone number)
and sherry's originativeco seems uncertain about his KMAC1.2/KMAC2 and KMAC Happy offering.... wow Cyntrix.... you seemed determined to populate our country with selections of mechanical keyboards???? haha... i know that feel bro, it's like that whenever im tying on my rosewill rk 9000 blue switch... the "typegasm"
Can get from Taobao if you don't have Korean proxy. In fact, it is a little bit cheaper.
Not sure how much is the shipping cost. But I still think it's cheaper to cannibalise another kb
Rm5.90 is for each. I got my switches from armygroup.com.tw They have since run out of clear switches.
For low amount of switches, I suggest you getting them from Taobao/element14/Rs component. Greens can be made by combining black springs with Blue stems.
but not cheap though. Cherry corp quality keycaps have been out of production for ages. The only way to get them is to harvest from old keyboards, or from 2nd hand key cap trading.
newer made quality keycaps also aren't cheap, because everything these days is mass produced so not many bother doing them. so people made custom orders, and it only gets cheaper if more people order together in places like geekhack.
Although to be fair, there has been somewhat of a resurgence of abs and pbt being used in some mech keyboard models. But whether they also now do double shots and dye sublimated (other than topre), i'm not sure since i haven't been actively looking.
Scared i get keyboard poisoned again if i check whats our there now.
You've been out of the game for too long
The nice people at GH has contact GMK, who has all the tooling for Cherry Corp Double shots, and BST, who makes them dye subs. The prices are...reasonable.
got something to ask about ducky keyboard *before switching dip4 functions (usb n key rollover and 6 key rollover) user has to shut dwon the keyboard power. havent done it without following instruction. is windows key s the same as others. and what happen if I dont follow. kinda sad because window switch is behind the keyboard. btw, anybody know ducky keyboard polling rate and weather it works over ps2
If you don't follow, the changes won't stick. If you can tell the difference in polling rate between ps2 and USB, I got some snake oil to sell to you.
I am just worried about the condition of your keyboard, because mechanical keyboard is very fragile, and if the keyboard is faulty eventho if its just one key, the value drops trememndously...
I forgot. Probably RM200 a set. This set will have all the key sizes to fit the race. Not sure about the legends. Probably have to get the ISO set for that.
I'm really disappointed with the keys on my Rosewill RK-9000 Only've been a week since PC fair and my wasd key and a few other more used keys look pretty terrible. They're so much darker and discoloured. My fingers area really oily I guess. What saddens me the most is that if I bought new set of keycaps, the money I could have just bought a Ducky in the first place which I didn't cause I wanted to save cash
Same problems with the ducky on normal printing. For backlit, it will eventually wear out and look worse
Topre IS coming. Should be below rm 800 for 104u. 87 will not be offered. An entry level topre at 400+ will probably be available as well. It has ABS cap
got all the receipt, all in australia. luckily i put insurance on the second time. somemore the insurance amount is the amount i offer to pay him back.
How did he paid you? If via paypal, wait for close to 45 days first. How long have you shipped it?
Track where is the item now, ask him to call their customs office/post office. Don't refund him without doing anything.
market not that good, i need the use the numpad to use autocad, and a few of my friends also need numpad to key in numbers. only real typist can use tkl.
Don't know about autocad. But unless your job requires you to key in numbers all day, nobody needs a friggin numpad. If you use numpad to key in your password, time to change the password. .
Many people don't like to change once they get used to something. I advocated to existence of numpads on laptops once. Now those laptops looks ridiculous, and your hands has to be off center to type.
My changeover was when i accidentally got an SSK. Feel in love with TKL, and now all my modern keyboards don't come with a numpad.
