Since there's promo to apply 2 HLB credit cards now, I got a few questions about supplementary card. Hope that those sifus who applied it can clarify them for me.

1.) Can I cancel the supplementary card next year to avoid the RM80 annual fee? Or I have to cancel both cards because it's a pair card combo?
2.) There's only 1 GST charge this year for 2 cards right? How about next year? Do I have to pay 2 GST?

Thank you very much

Just tested OTP doesn't work for me too, I'm sure my number is correct because I use same card to pay the bill.

No problem maxing out the CB with the current inflation rate in Malaysia. sad.gif
Next in line is Mbb Amex @ 5%+2% then Citibank CB Plat @ 5% or 2% then OCBC Ti @ 1%.

I've recalculated my spendings & figured out that the best option for me is to swipe RM50 x 10 times first. Then, dump all other eligible transactions to make it RM1k transaction amount per month. Sometimes can't get exactly 10% CB, but still close enough to my liking. Thanks for your fedbacks... rclxms.gif

1) from what i hear from the branch just now, u can cancel the supp card after 6 months
2) there is always 2 GST involves, rm50 for principal card, rm25 for supp card, it's the general rule from BNM

bear with me if this was answered, i just started lurking in this topic:
1) UNIFI is considered what category?
2) Streamyx(with phone line) is considered what category?
3) Insurance is considered what category?

So hard to decide which categories to pick...Utilities, Groceries, Dining (I eat out moderately), Departmental, Petrol (I think I spend at most 200-ish)
Anyone feels if certain categories can be covered better by other cards that I least likely to need for this card? Generally, I don't spend too much in each categories.

I'm planning to apply but I need to find out some details. Has anyone paid Unifi with this card? What category does it fall into?

ronnie, time to boost up this thread like what you did for ocbc brows.gif

personally request for page one to be updated with more details like:
places where we thought is 10% but not.

i've read through all the pages in this V. shocking.gif
and here are my summary (please correct me if wrong), maybe can update 1st page.

- the 10 swiping per month is based on posting date by vendor, not transaction date
- AEON Supermarket doesn't fall into Groceries or Departmental Store
- no bill payment on HLB portal
- pay maxis via easy pay, maxis kiosk (kl sentral/gardens), reported can pay with payonline.com as well
- maxis fiber via maxis broadband portal, reported can pay with payonline.com as well
- TM no cashback
- UNIFI no cashback
- TNB no sucessful cashback yet???
