Last time I use excel files to track transactions and cashback for my credit cards as well.

Now I track it using google docs. Pretty much same with excel. Just that it's on the cloud. Can check with phone or using other ppl tablet and pc. Instead of tying to my own pc at home / office only.

Much better.

So basically, HLB added Bonus Category : Overseas Spend (from 18-Nov to 31-Dec 2013 only)

5. The cumulated Cash-Back shall subject to a maximum Cash-Back of RM100 per calendar month, per
account. For the avoidance of doubt, the accumulated Cash-Back includes the entire eligible 10%
cash rebate on posted retail transactions of the WISE spending categories duly enrolled.

Ngam sai, going overseas during this period. But unfortunately, no bonus extra CB on top of existing limit.

I think 0.1 % still ok of can get 10%. But, may be is limited to RM500 equivalent in other currency for 10% as we need
10 retail transactions with minimum RM50 each (if my assumption below is correct).

Do we still need to have 10 local retail transactions with RM50 in ringgit or can mix with other foreign transaction in foreign currency?

Below is the term and condition
Cardholder must have a minimum of Ten (10) posted retail transactions (the “Transaction”) in the same calendar month and each with a minimum amount of Ringgit Malaysia Fifty (RM50); and
*
Any local or foreign transactions >RM50 will be counted towards the minimum 10 swipes.

I use copy-paste method from the internet banking screen to my laptop Excel template.
The only one that prevent copy-paste was the AEON internet banking screen. So I do a print-to-pdf and then copy-paste from the pdf content into Excel. laugh.gif
Excel is great, I use various formula/condition to auto calc, things like if it is weekend, if it is 5%/1%; 2xTP or 5xTP; TP (and in RM value) cumulated/redeemed; round up/down; CB by category; effective return; projection of how much balance (no of swipes and amount) I am away from the max CB; cumulative CB from each card; no of EPP installments reamianing; annual spent by category, recon between statement and physical slips; link cc payment entries to my IBG/SA account entries; etc. nod.gif I still feel I can do more, hence am adding progressively as I go along.
