i'm working in private sector now, with science background. nowdays it difficult to get a job seem my company going to collapse anytime now. but at the same time my salary got paid but no work to do in this meantime. so i start my own business selling computer and sometime repairing. so what should i do. should i stay or should i go...

how busy are you with your own business? if it is not, try look for other jobs while doing your business. treat your own business as side income for now..

not that busy.. but i always make my life busy than sitting around in office looking in the jobstreet. looking for business oppurtunity.. read low yat forum... thinking..
by my intrest in computer is very high now... coz i dont have a call for an interview. so boring...

well, that's the best thing i could offer right now; keep on looking for new job and treat your own business as side income. once you get a new job, tone down on your business a bit to give yourself some space to concentrate on your new job to gain extra knowledge . heck, if you're bored of looking job, take a time out and think of alternative business opportunities (since you have high interest in comps). after brain storming, then only continue your job hunting. that's one way to keep yourself busy..

do it like me if more than 3 year also cant find job just concentrate on business and im still going on with my online business until now, sumtime your luck is not there you should ttry other opportunity and try not to stuck on one place.

yup thats right, i got an experience on seling pc also onrepairing. you need a good financial backup because nowadays people are smarter on pc world. first u maybe want to try samothing that not to mainstream for part timr. when u can create a good reputation and then u can go further with your minimum 6 month profit and loss to acquire financial support from bank and etc.

6 month profit and loss...?? i dont have a current account yet.. planning to open it soon. well.. yeah maybe i need to travel far from low yat and offer them a good price same as low yatt.

im creating a website and put some information on it and im inserting google advertisement and this generate profit to pay bills and so on, its quite nice business seeing new information at the same gaining money

it's not that difficult actually. like now, you're saying that you got so many leisure times in the office, why not try to learn something like HTML and PHP?

can u suggest which website that i can learn all of those thing... and how i'm going to make money if i make a web site.... please.. i need something to...

If you want to learn html and php google is the best source. However I suggest you start first with html as its easier to understand. Another easy way to make a website is using Microsoft Frontpage/Publisher. Then you can practise by getting a test website hosted by free hosting service like geocities, freewebs, angelfire, etc.

To actually make money with your website, you have to be creative and attract people to visit your website. For example, think how google makes a lot of money even though every/most service they provide is free. The answer is ads. If you can constantly attract people to your website, there's a chance they will click on the ads there. Each click = cash for you.

If there's many people using and accessing your media, people who want to promote their business would to put an advertisement there to make sure many people knows them and thus bigger opportunity for their busness. That why you can charge for every advertisement that have been click in your site. The first thing is, how to attract people to your site like how people addicted to lowyat.net. if you can acquire about thousands of visitor per day, those companies would love to put their ad in your site.

so does that mean i need to have my own domain.. then firstly i advertise my item then i advertise other... So who ever want to use my page to advertise their item it will be charge.. is it like that...??

go for online investment, quite good if u know how n doesnt become greedy,

Doing business is definitely the best choice! i never believed in working for people. Sometimes the salary you are getting might not even pay you off for a car!

yeah.. correct... if not i cannot pay my debt this month.. lucky i have started my sales already... customer all far away one... terengganu to KL. but i must find something that can maintain my income. i never hope to be fast rich one.... coz that is stupid ambition..
