Depends on quality.

The cost of 2x2 porcelain tiles have a lot of range. If standard one, the 1x1.5 ceramic is about close to 1.5-2 times cheaper.

For such nice house n concept of newer dev or township, I believe dev should give standard 2x2 porcelain tiles. It doesnt cost much since the labour rate is same. Ceramic is old fashion, although good quality ceramic looks very nice and solid if the house is nicely design.

Not entire of the 1885 sq ft is needed for porcelain esp kitchen area, bathrooms and balcony ( if there is ) , I believe, it just requre additional RM 10k-15k for dev to convert all ceramic tiles to 2x2 porcelain tiles. Maybe dev get the ceramic tiles in bulk much more cheaper due to lesser demand?

If we have to convert ourselve as owner, the 2x2 tiles entire unit excluding spaces used for wall, kitchen n bathrooms, the tiles would cost us at least 420-450 pieces of 2x2 tiles and to include the labour costof ceramic tiles tearing n new tiles labour, which ultimately cost us RM 20-25k.
