how's the fuel consumption for CVT premium ? full tank can go how many km ? assuming driving in the usual KL traffic...

if fuel is your main priority this isn't the car for you, there are better choices out there.

it all depends on your driving style and roads but you are looking somewhere around 400km per full tank with KL traffic(based on my experience).
*
400km per full tank is already vry good enough for me.... my 2004 hyundai accent only does 200km+, 45L fuel tank sweat.gif

planning to trade in that car and get a car within 60k range. preve seems to offer the best in this price range....

wow, should use this as a quote to all of them who come here asking and complaining about the CFE's fuels efficiency haha.

it is the best in its price range, with all its features and surely is a whole lot of fun!

but another honest opinion, you have to be willing to accept the fact that you may require a lot of little 'fixes' from time to time with frequent visits to the SC(nothing major and all FOC covered by warranty).

just a heads up.
*
haha actually it's not a fair comparison also since that hyundai is a 9 years old car almost....but yeah, it's fuel consumption is really terrible for today standards. recently something is wrong with the gearbox, so was thinking to trade it in after next major service and look for a new ride.

major visit to sc is ok for me since there's 1 near my place....as long it's not for something major

btw any dealers to recommend for KL / cheras area? accepts trade in and offer good deal as well

went and test drove cfe preve at the show room beside jalan sungai besi just now...

i'm unlucky to have a new salesman. bring me to the car like a boss, but end up he duno how to start the engine, he flip the key out and was trying to look for the key hole, in the end i have to teach him doh.gif

and he was trying to manually fold out the mirrors.... that time i was like shocking.gif lucky he didn't force it

then when i say the car have 4 airbags, he say have 6 doh.gif i just keep quiet and listen

overall i love the car... didn't notice the usual quality issues as reported by forumers here....btw the test car still quite new, only completed 200km+ on the odo.

looking forward to join u guys soon smile.gif

Hey guys. My name's Deep, fresh meat here. Am planning to get the Preve CFE in June/July.
Any news if the facelift model gonna be out soon? If so, i wont book too early.

Also, might it be priced a lot more?
Thanks in advance!
*
hatchback and a slightly improved (in terms of accessories) sedan is launching next month..

but according to a SA the price slightly high, close to 80k, and there won't be any discount yet

so u decide whether to wait or get it now, if u get it now u enjoy up to 5.5k discount depending on ur SA

Lo, first I heard Forte NVH is better than Preve. Few of my friend own it and I also test drive it, the NVH is bad.
*
safety part as well....

preve is considered more safe than forte. forte 1.6sx local spec only comes with 2 airbags, but preve have 4

and preve have 5 star ANCAP, forte only score 4 star in the same test

umm bro..are u sure 2 airbag? i just test the newest model..it got 6 airbag...in malaysia
5 star ANCAP for local model of preve?
*
yes 1.6sx only 2 airbags. only 2.0 got 6 airbags

5 star ANCAP for aussie spec preve, they have 6 airbags

their forte over there also have 6 airbags, but still score 4 star instead of 5
