Hi guys, I have a noob question; The chassis number can be more or less related to the total sales of the Prevé right ?
The MAA doesn't share sales statistics anymore, so there's no way of knowing how many Prevés are out there.
Let's say that the chassis no. reaches 100k by this year end, means Proton sold 100k Prevé in total ? Correct ?
Also, are the chassis numbers for the exported Preves unique or are they shared with the Malaysian spec ? (don't restart with 1,2,3 etc.)
Thanks in advance. :

I'm not really sure how Protons chassis number runs. Most likely for Proton, since they produce a range of vehicles, chassis number may not start with 1. It may start with a number that identifies the model. The MAA doesn't share sales statistics anymore, so there's no way of knowing how many Prevés are out there.

Manufactures log their parts catalog with chassis number or some similar system. This just my guess,as I do not know what system Proton uses.
