Drove a Preve just now, how do you turn off the engine actually? I pressed the Start/Stop engine button but it didn't shut off? hmm.gif

Set gear at P, pull brake, release foot brake and press yhe button and not hold the button. If it doesnt shuts down, means something is wrong.
*
Lol that's funny... because I pressed a few times then only it went off. So what would you do if the engine won't shut down at all? laugh.gif

Most sellers on Mudah work for a legit car showroom. The extra discount they give is deducted from their own commission. Pay them a visit at their shop, and if you are still not satisfied, call Proton and check for their shop authenticity.

What's the fuel consumption of Preve IAFM+ MT in KM/l?

I've tested the CFE CVT quite nice, but my budget is low, was actually aiming for Saga FLX Executive 1.3 CVT. Brought along 2 friends with me who drives a camry/civic and the other a vios, both recommended me Preve instead of Saga because they said it felt more "premium" and comfortable sitting in it. Didn't test drive the Saga because there's no test drive unit....
*
I expect should be 20% more than CFE. My CFE ODO already reached 600km, and I've only filled in RM150 of fuel since I got my car (now still got half tank) laugh.gif

Of course you'll be having more comfortable experience driving/sitting in Preve compared to Saga.

Your RM150 is RON97 or RON95?

*Disclaimer I'm only estimating based on your data, so this could be incorrect*

Well I was just pulling the figure out of nowhere, but based on the fact that IAFM has considerably less power than CFE. I still got more than half a tank of fuel, and estimated to be able to go around at least 350km more. Considering that, I think it's very reasonable ratio.

Using RON95, from Shell and BHP tongue.gif

I heard that Preve now come with 5-years warranty and 5-years free service (parts and labour). Any truth in this?
*
Not sure about the years of free service warranty, but it's up to 150,000km.

Is there no fix to that?

I don't know, as I'll only be sending to service center for the first time this weekend. Any older owner care to enlighten?

Hi, have u try to remove the metal clamp that hold the handbrake cable and replace it with cable tie?
Or add additional cable tie at the handbrake cable

Both at rear location la near the tyre hmm.gif

I'm going to send to the SC for first 1,000km this weekend, so will have them look into it as well. Did the method you mentioned solve the problem?

Well lets just see what they have got to say about the problem. It doesn't really annoy me (the noise), but you know, you expect the car problem to be minimized smile.gif

While I can't recommend this car if you are going fuel savvy, but I can say it's not bad either. I'm getting 9l/100km. Mixture of city drive and highway.

It doesn't take a no brainer to realize that Preve has a very sturdy chassis to begin with tongue.gif

Didn't Preve come with the ecotint? So far I'm very satisfied with the factory tint, the temperature was still bearable after I left it under the hot sun.
