The muppet in me, I would like to see Rooney off (I know he has so much in his engine, but there is not much evidence of it nowadays. You can't keep unmotivated big game players like Rooney in the squad, even as great THAT pass to RvP is), keep Nani (one last chance to prove himself), Anderson off (as skilful as he is at times, he is just not fit enough to playing in this league, perhaps La Liga is more suited to his playing styles), and keep the rest. Fabio to be Rafael's backup (not like they would notice anyway apart from the haircuts ).

Rooney out, means another big time player should be coming. CR7? Other than that, another one or two potential players could be enough to maintain and steady the United ship once again. I am sure it would be unstable for the first few months, but as SAF is still there always ever so watchful, the damage would be kept at minimal. Can't imagine Giggsy playing under different manager after all these years. Would be weird watching United games from now on. A new era? Hope another successful one. It would be very very very difficult to emulate SAF's achievements, but if the new man can win some if not all, and still maintain United at the very top of Euro's football tree, and not fall down completely, I think that would be enough.
