When are you gonna swap it out? No doubt fantastic device but bummer it's without an active digitizer...draw mode is harder with just fingers.

Then you should ask in the pinned phones recommendation thread at the top of the forum. State your budget and other requirements as per the standard format. I sus pect yr budget is 1500 thereabouts. Plenty of choice. Note 2, xperia zl, telco contract s4 etc.

I'm fine overall with the phone as you've posted, just feel it's a little too angular tongue.gif

It will be a waste of screen space if you don't use it with a stylus, since this is about the correct size for a full and pocketable paper notepad replacement. I use the s-pen with HandyNote to take notes during meetings, and find Note 2 just a little on the small side for that purpose.

Question like this is best asked in the Model vs Model thread in the parent Mobile forum. You will need people who have owned BOTH phones to tell you a good answer. I'm sure that this overlapping subset is an EXTREMELY small number here.

Mate is expected to be 25% cheaper than the Vega 6, and with a 30% larger battery. So I suppose you want 2 days of use, local warranty and you don't demand high benchmark scores, Mate will be good.

I think I know why it's 80chars now. CJK characters are double byte... ie 2x yr 8bit ascii so its not a problem actually but it seems the value is hard coded...
