6 & 7 are pretty easy. Can't comment on the other modules cos I switched industries after taking 6 & 7.

If I am not mistaken, anyone can take (at least) modules 6 & 7, even with zero work experience and zero exposure to the field. However the value of having passed the exams with regards to your goal of "venturing into IB" is questionable at best. Like I mentioned in my previous post, 6 & 7 aren't hard to pass, hence they'll probably carry minimal (if any) weight when you apply for jobs in IB's, brokers, etc.

so in your opinion what is best for those that want to venture into the IB field.
should i take modules 6,7 and then try seeking some experience in banks ,brokering firm?
will they accept someone with zero background but willing to learn and have the certifications (module 6,7)?
or whats best then most suited for this scenario?thanks for reply
greatly appreciated rclxms.gif

May I know which position you are applying for? Is it Proprietary Day Trader/Institutional Dealer? If no, please forget about it. Seriously, you want to make 0.1% commission while your future colleagues in Capital Markets making 0.5% - 2% commission from each fund raised?
